Implementation of distributed control system for controlling energy processes

The article focuses on the possibilities of controlling energy processes using a distributed control system 800xA from the company ABB. The principle is explained on the example of controlling the pyrolysis unit. First, the article discusses the design of new hardware needed to control the pyrolysis process. The second chapter deals with the creation of a control application in the Control Builder environment, where the solution of optimal heating is given, considering the large thermal inertia of heating using resistance spirals. The third chapter describes the possibilities of creating a graphical control display for control from a PC in the Engineering Workplace environment. The fifth chapter deals with the Panel Builder software, in which it is possible to create the settings of the built-in touch panel.
