Cyber Security Awareness, Knowledge and Behavior in the Banking Sector in Jordan

Considering the increment in the size, variety, complexity of the data, it became critical and difficult for organizations to handle their information’s assets on-premise. Therefore, by utilizing the advancements of technology, digitalization, digitization, it became easier for banks to turn their data and information to be online and on the cloud. Despite all the powerful features that the cloud provides, it became challenging for organizations to tackle the threats in information security, moreover the cyber security regulations rise, so it became necessary for organizations to pay more attention to the cyber security practices by measuring the awareness and knowledge of their end-users and to see how these two dimensions affect their behaviors. This paper investigates the effect of cyber security awareness and knowledge on the cyber security behavior among the employees in the banking sector in Jordan.
