Towards ICT-CFT aligned Open Educational Resources Recommendations Based on Elicited Teachers' ICT Competencies

In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in Educational Recommender Systems aiming at addressing the lack of personalized learning for online learners, providing them with adequate learning experiences meeting their needs and preferences. Similarly, teachers having also different needs, competencies and preferences, can avail recommendation systems in order to develop their capacities and to improve their teaching practices. In this paper, we propose a recommender system that provides suitable materials for teachers, retrieved from collections of open educational resources OER aligned to the UNESCO Information and Communication Technologies Competency Framework for Teachers ICT-CFT, based on teachers' competencies and preferences.
