Transformer Load Monitoring and EV Charging Control Function

Transformer Load Monitoring (TLM) measures the necessary parameters, electrical metering, ambient temperature, oil temperature. TLM also be used for current of medium voltage feeder monitoring (via CT of load break switch). All measuring parameters can be accessed via online database. Moreover, TLM can control EV charging current. In case of transformer overloading, TLM can send a request to EV charger for reducing the charging current via Zigbee wireless communication. Due to this mechanism, installation of new transformer for supporting of EV energy consuming can be avoided.
