Orthogonal Wavelet Construction Method for Electrocardiographic Signal Denoising

In order to better remove the EMG interference of the ECG signal, an orthogonal wavelet (ECG wavelet) specially used for the processing of the ECG signal is designed. First, in order to meet the orthogonality requirements, the wavelet filter coefficients are parameterized; second, the parameterized wavelet filter coefficients are used to approximate the QRS template and construct the objective function. On this basis, the vanishing distance is used as a constraint condition to be optimized Model; finally, the Lagrange multiplier method is used to solve the model. The performance of the constructed wavelet is evaluated in terms of smoothness, similarity with ECG signal, reconstruction error, and frequency response characteristics. The results show that ECG wavelet can obtain better results than db and sym series wavelets. The overall performance, with this algorithm is used to denoise the ECG signal in the MIT-BIH database; it can suppress the interference of additive noise and increase the signal-to-noise ratio by 10.32dB. The method of designing orthogonal wavelets according to the application objects provides new ideas for other special wavelet designs.
