Smart Door Locking System Using LoRa Technology

This paper surveys, studies and resolves the problems faced today by house owners and bank locker holders with locking systems which involve wireless modules for example Wi-Fi technology, GSM, Bluetooth etc. Locking systems which are used nowadays have less range and high power consumption which reduces efficiency of smart lock systems. So, in this research paper a smart lock system based on the LoRa module is introduced which is gaining high popularity in today's world. LoRa is an IOT based wireless communication module which uses low power and a long range technology. Using LoRa, the lock can be monitored. It can also be operated from a wide range as LoRa allows bidirectional communication. The basic need of smart lock systems is to operate in low power and can operate from a wide range and LoRa fulfills these requirements.
