Design of 2GHz Interdigital Hairpin Microstrip Bandpass Filter

In order to meet the high requirements of wireless communication and obtain filters with high integration and steep transition band, an interdigital one is designed. Compared to a conventional hairpin-type filter, one advantage of this filter is that it utilizes cross-coupling, which reduces the volume of the filter efficiently. Additionally, the filter has sharp stopband attenuation, with two zero points on both sides of the passband. Finally, the designed filter is measured to have midfrequency of 2.025GHz, with bandwidth of 281MHz.
