Alcohol Detection and Emergency Alert System using IoT

It is an absolute requirement in today's modern, fast-paced, and insecure environment to be aware of safety precautions when driving a vehicle. Furthermore, the frequency of vehicle accidents is increasing at an alarming rate. According to many statistics, the majority of accidents are caused by the driver's intoxication or tiredness. The main parameters to consider while building the system include knowing where the vehicles are, what the drivers are doing, and monitoring every occurrence in real time. Basically, any driver monitoring system is created with the use of sensors and GSM to continuously watch the driver and issue an alarm if any suspicious behave is detected, such as excessive speeding, intoxication, fatigue, and so on. This is also an essential step to track down the driver's driving patterns, which might be useful in making future decisions. From the perspective of truck and state transport bus drivers, this system will be implemented. As known, the TNSTA is losing a lot of money due to high maintenance costs for buses caused by reckless driving. The deployment of this system, which makes use of all modern sensors and analysis tools, is critical for keeping track of the driver's driving pattern.
