The Design and Simulation of Adjustable PSM Module of Extraction Grid Power System

Negative ion source Neutral Beam Injector (NNBI) plays a very important role in the experimental research of Tokomak. The characteristics of continuous and fast adjustment and high stability, and adjustable rise time are required in the voltage amplitude feeding to the extraction grid power supply of negative ion source NBI. In order to meet the application requirements of neutral beam injector extraction grid power supply, a adjustable PSM power module is proposed, which will be adopted to improve the output accuracy of extraction power supply for negative ion source neutral beam injector. Firstly, the dc converter applied to neutral beam extraction power supply is designed, the working principle of the DC converter is analyzed, and the topology, circuit parameters and control strategy of the converter are discussed. The simulation results show that the power module can solve the contradiction between the dynamic performance and the steady-state performance of the extraction power system for negative ion source neutral beam injector, and meet the operation requirements of the high power negative ion source neutral beam injector device.
