Study on Torsional Vibration Characteristics of Wind Turbine Drive Train

In view of the load fatigue and resonance problems caused by the torque of the wind turbine transmission system, the state space model of the three mass drive train is established by analyzing the drive train, and on the basis of the dynamic analysis of the transmission system, the state space equation of the system is established, based on the transmission function matrix of the transmission system, the analytical expression of the torque characteristic and natural frequency of the transmission system in the time domain is finally derived by the Laplace reverse transformation, and the simulation verification is carried out by MATLAB/Simulink. The results show that there are two natural frequencies of low frequency and high frequency in the three-mass transmission system. There are constant components, low frequency components and high frequency components in the torque, of which the low frequency torque has a larger amplitude and the high frequency torque has a smaller amplitude. Therefore, reducing the low frequency torque and avoiding the two resonance points are effective methods to suppress the load fatigue and prevent resonance of wind turbines.
