Plenary: Rethinking Engineering Education After COVID-19: A Path to the New Normal

EDUNINE - IEEE World Engineering Education Conference is one of the renowned flagship conferences of the IEEE Education Society organized jointly with COPEC for Region 9 (Latin America). In these times of unexpected events around the world, the organizers and their partners have committed to provide a different experience for authors and participants and thus decided to offer a distinct style of conference. The conference will be a hybrid conference, with online and in-person presentations in Latin American cities/countries that hosted previous EDUNINE editions and in Spain and Portugal. It is an innovation and has been named after smart distributed conference - distributed across multiple interconnected locations in order to maintain the best of both face-to-face and online conferences. Authors have the option of choosing how to present their work, either as an “in-person participant” in one of the conferencecities or as an “online-only participant” using the online platform.
