Design of Autonomous Vehicle for Transporting Harvested Fruit from Farming Field Using Raspberry Pi

In the farming field, after harvesting the fruits it will be carried by the field workers. The analysis of this situation helps us to implement the idea of an autonomous vehicle for transporting harvested fruits from the farming field to warehouse. In this work, we proposed the working of an autonomous vehicle for transporting harvested fruits from the farming field using Raspberry pi. The application of the developed system will significantly reduce the need of manpower in the farming field, resulting in saving time. This designed vehicle can follow the humans by avoiding any obstacles and carrying up to 2 Kg of fruits in the smart tray attached with it. The maximum weight to be carried can beset while designing the process of the vehicle using a load cell. Therefore, it is useful for different kinds of farming and also provides safety in farming fields for humans.
