A Theoretical Study on CNN based Cotton Crop Disease Detection

India is mostly a farming country. India's farmers produce massive amounts of crops every year, and we are completely reliant on them. Crop care, on the other hand, is difficult. Many diseases have the potential to destroy crops. The majority of the time, these disorders are not identified, and no proper efforts are done to address the issues. Everything in today's world is smart and technologically dependent. In the expansion of smart approaches, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) play a critical role. As a result, a smart and fast proposed approach for identifying agricultural diseases is introduced. This paper focuses on developing and analyzing the CNN model for the detection and classification of cotton plant diseases. The proposed study demonstrates the CNN model with convolutional layer and max-pooling layer to extract the feature from cotton plant image.
