Inverted F-Shaped Two-Component Meta-Atom For Multiband Application

In this research, a novel two-component metamaterial is constructed using an FR4 substrate material for multiband applications. Throughout the C-band, this also exhibits near-zero refractive index (NZRI) characteristics. This meta-atom shows the necessary effective medium ratio (EMR) during the x axis propagation. Due to wideband negative permittivity and permeability, it exhibits transmission resonances across the S, C, X, as well as Ku bands, respectively. To develop a square-shaped pattern, two inverted F-shaped metal connections were put head to head. Wave propagation through the material was explored whereas the two principal planes (x and z). The design of the meta-atom was examined using a commercially obtainable electromagnetic simulator from Computer Simulation Technology. The x-axis performance of the appropriate medium parameter is better than the Z-axis, according to the results of this study.
