Application of States and Transitions Graph for Developing the Model of the Process of Shelling a Mobile Armored Target

The process of shelling a mobile armored combat vehicle with directional fragmentation-bundle projectiles is represented in the form of a discrete-continuous stochastic system in this paper. Based on this representation, a stochastic model as of Kolmogorov - Chapman differential equations system has been developed. The stochastic model is designed to conduct experimental research on the effectiveness of different variants of the components of the artillery system for shelling with fragmentation-bundle projectiles in a series that consists of three shots. The following components is presented in the developed model. The first component is the coordinate determination system and target characteristics for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd shots and transmission of the data to the main gun. The performance indicator of this system is the probability of successful reception of the coordinates and target characteristics for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd shots. The second component is the remote detonation system of fragmentation-bundle projectiles the performance indicator of which is presented by the probability of successful remote detonation of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fragmentation-bundle projectiles. The third component is the design options for fragmentation-bundle projectiles, the performance indicator of which is presented by the possibility of damaging the attackable compartments of the armored combat vehicle by the “useful fragments”.
