Prioritization of Medical Data Transmission over IoT Environment

With the recent enhancements in IoT networks, data access is performed quicker and faster. This leads to the adoption of this technology in various applications, specifically in the healthcare field. The packet that flows through the network should be more confidential and safer to fulfill the QoS requirements. The patients' healthcare data that propagates via the network needs to reach the remote location on time without any delay. It helps provide proper assistance for the physicians to take care of their patients with better care and avoid risk handling. This research concentrates on provisioning a novel method to trigger the routing process via the IoT networks in an efficient manner by prioritizing the data packets. Also, the data needs to be provided securely to avoid manipulating redundant data and congestion. Here, the simulation is done in a MATLAB environment. The model gives better performance than the prevailing approaches. The minimal energy consumed by the proposed model is 0.1J, and the transmission rate is 1000 b/s. The delay tolerance of this method is higher with better energy efficiency, which is tested under diverse scenarios.
