Investigation of Electrical Insulating Properties of Bamboo Paper from Vietnam

The short-term electrical and mechanical strength of electrical insulating paper obtained from bamboo stalks of different types growing in Vietnam has been studied, and its morphology has also been investigated. Bamboo raw materials were also studied by the X-ray examination method. The possibility of increasing the breakdown voltage by modifying the cellulose base with nano-fibers of bacterial cellulose has been confirmed. The oleophilic properties of the obtained paper castings are evaluated. The results of comparing the electrophysical parameters of paper made using various technologies are presented.
