Artificial Intelligence in Orthodontics - An exposition

For centuries, dentistry has become the most essential part of human life. Tooth is the robust and strongest part of the human body. Poor dental hygiene leads to bruxism. Artificial Intelligence is the upcoming technology that makes a tremendous change in the field of dentistry. To avoid the randomness in error and missing data, AI has taken many initiatives for the development of healthcare industry. The development of Artificial Intelligence has further classified as strong AI and weak AI, which aroused after the implementation of mathematical and statistical concepts. The AI concentrate on the study, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the problem that happens in teeth and gums. Of the study, major dental problems are considered to be periodontal diseases. This affects both the teeth and gum, which may further affect the rest of the healthy teeth. This study focuses on the major dental issues and the algorithms which is highly useful in the detection by early diagnosis of the dental related problems.
