Electromagnetic Wave Propagation Characteristics of Oblique Incidence Nonlinear Ionospheric Langmuir Disturbance

Based on the generalized Zakharov model, the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method of obliquely incident plasma is combined with the two fluid dynamics equation. The two-dimensional Maxwell equation is equivalent to one-dimensional Maxwell equation, and the numerical model of ionospheric small dip electromagnetic wave propagation is established by using the plasma hydrodynamic equation. In this paper, the governing equation of TEz wave in obliquely incident nonlinear ionospheric plasma is analyzed and derived, and then the FDTD algorithm suitable for calculating the propagation characteristics of ionospheric electromagnetic wave is derived. The simulation results show that when the electromagnetic wave heats the ionosphere with a small inclination, the electromagnetic wave will produce Langmuir disturbance.
