Investigation of Some Psychological and Pedagogical Phenomena Related to Distance Education in Engineering University

The article presents an overview of contemporary studies related to various aspects of digitization of education in higher education. The authors substantiate some important and noticeable psychological and pedagogical phenomena related to online learning, based on practical experience of its implementation in an aerospace engineering university. The case study proposes result of qualitative and quantitative analysis caried on as survey among university students. The article draws conclusions on the merits and drawbacks of this practice and outlines a list of qualities the students expect the teacher to have in the circumstances related to the pandemic and distance learning.
