Design of Thirteen Level Inverter suitable for Solar Farms

In this paper a capacitor based thirteen –level inverter is designed where the capacitor makes direct current links to yield the levels inform of staircase waveforms. The said model of inverter utilizes minimum quantity of DC sources compared to conventional types. The inverter module needs lower components including two direct current sources, two capacitors, fourteen switches. The designed inverter switches with less number of components. The proposed designed is simulated using Matlab/Simulink and experiment work is performed in order to validate the simulation results.
