A Multi-Time Scale Scheduling Method for Wind-PV-Pumped Storage-Electrochemical Energy Storage Integrated Generation System

In this paper, a joint operation scheme of wind power - photovoltaic - electrochemical energy storage - pumped storage power station is proposed through a multi-time-scale optimization process. Firstly, in day-ahead scheduling, the peak-valley characteristic of wind power and photovoltaic generation is adjusted by optimizing the operation of pumped storage plants. This paper proposed a day-ahead optimization model based on day-ahead forecasts of wind speed and solar radiation intension for shave the peak-valley load. Secondly, in rolling scheduling, according to the ultra-short term forecasts, pumped storage and electrochemical energy storage are coordinated to promote the accommodation of renewable energy. Then, in real-time scheduling, only electrochemical energy storage is considered to participate in scheduling, so as to smooth the fluctuation of the renewable energy. Finally, a case study is given to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the multi time scale method.
