The On-load Voltage Regulator for an Oil-immersed Power Transformer

Electronic on-load tap changer (EOLTC) allows realize fast switching of the power transformer. The article presents of an output voltage regulation for an oil-immersed power transformer are presented. Possible solutions of high-speed regulation for an oil-immersed power transformer various windings connections are presented. Based on the analysis of various types of power oil-immersed transformers, a universal voltage regulation on-load device has been developed and implemented for such transformers has been developed and implemented. The control principle of the device for on-load voltage regulation of an oil-immersed power transformer is presented. However, it is impossible to call the device universal for any type of power transformer due to some features of the implementation dry-type transformers. The proposed EOLTC solution allows for low-cost and high-quality modernization of electrical networks with the greatest efficiency.
