Research on Road Sense Simulation and Stability Control of SBW System

The steer-by-wire system eliminates the mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the steering wheel. It cannot provide a sense of road for the driver through mechanical devices like the traditional steering system. It is necessary to simulate the road feeling through the road-sensing motor. The difficulty lies in how to evaluate the performance of the designed line-controlled steering sense simulation strategy, and further study its impact on vehicle handling stability. The validity of the model is verified by the matlab/simulink tool for the established road model and the steering wheel torque mathematical model. Then, based on this, two road simulation strategies, fuzzy PID control and fuzzy immune PID control, are designed. Finally, combined with the vehicle's steering stability test, the designed road-sensing simulation strategy is embedded into the established vehicle model, and its influence on the driving comfort and steering stability of the vehicle is verified under typical working conditions. The simulation results show that the designed road-sensing simulation strategy has strong anti-interference and solves the problems of "light" and "spirit" in the traditional steering system.
