Determination of Optimal Topology Based VANET Routing Protocol

VANET is a revolutionary system device that utilizes automobiles as base stations to create a network system. Routing protocols play a crucial role in VANET efficiency since it governs how signals are sent and received amongst base stations. Inside this study, authors looked real time vehicles and evaluate the results of DSR and AODV topology-based routing protocols for multiple PDR and throughput. The evaluation criteria of PDR and average throughput are investigated in terms of frequency and nodes count. The purpose of this research is to determine the optimal routing protocol that may be utilised to improve privacy. For this, authors have used SUMO as mobility simulator and synchronised with NS-3 as network simulator. According to our validated data, AODV outperforms among two simulation parameters tested.
