Characterization of a Novel All Dielectric Metasurface

A wide band-stop filter has been designed and studied numerically in this paper. An all-dielectric metamaterial based frequency selective surface is proposed which operates in the sub-6 GHz range. The constitutive parameters of the metamaterial has been extracted from reflection and transmission coefficients of the proposed unit cell. Four cylindrical structures constituted of dielectric AD410 embedded on a double walled quasi-cuboidal structure made of dielectric AD1000L form the unit cell for realization of the reflective metasurface. Full-wave simulations have been conducted in Ansys HFSS 2020.
