Sharp Rejection Low Loss Ultra Wideband Pseudo High Pass Filter

A compact design, synthesis and realization techniques of an ultra-wideband high pass filter is presented in this work. Dual network of a low of pass filter is chosen as basic design element. It ensures generalized Chebyshev features with all finite frequency transmission zeroes at
$\omega_{0}$
except three. Design process initiates by mapping Richard's transformation to the LPF dual prototype. Then circuit formulation has been carried out by introducing unit elements with proper characteristic impedance. Frequency variable in the mapped domain is readjusted with prototype domain thus it matches at the exact cut-off frequency. Unit elements are first introduced to homogeneous distributed domain and then it is modified in inhomogeneous medium by applying Kuroda's identities. Short circuited stub of series branches has been absorbed by shunt branches in distributed domain in the final stage. Measured and simulation responses of the realized and simulated filter are matching with great satisfaction respectively.
