Speech Enhancement Using Modified SSA

In the paper the problem of speech enhancement using singular spectrum analysis (SSA) technique is considered. The modified (or adaptive) SSA presented before as preprocessing for spectral analysis is adapted for speech enhancement. The modified minimum variance SSA is proposed wherein the improved noise variance estimate is used. Simulations results are presented that confirm the improved performance of proposed approaches.
