Parabolic Rule Variable Filtering Time Constant Demand Response Method Considering SOC State of Wind Power Storage

Using battery energy storage system to smooth wind power fluctuations can improve the reliability of wind power grid connection. Considered the adjustment of energy storage system SOC, a smooth wind power control strategy for a battery energy storage system with a parabolic regular variable filtering time constant was proposed. This method obtains the grid-connected active power target value of the wind storage system through the parabolic regular variable filtering time constant algorithm, go through the rate of change limit, SOC correction and power limit to obtain the actual output value of the battery energy storage system, issuing to the stored energy converter to perform charge and discharge operations on the battery. It can achieve the effect of smoothing wind power and ensure that the SOC is maintained within a safe range. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of this strategy were verified by MATLAB simulation.
