Research on Multi-peak MPPT of Photovoltaic Array Based on Quantum Genetic Algorithm

Photovoltaic arrays exhibit multi-peak characteristics due to uneven illumination under actual working conditions. Traditional MPPT tracking algorithms cannot achieve global optimization and cannot accurately track the maximum power point. Genetic algorithm can effectively solve the multi-peak optimization problem, but the general genetic algorithm will have premature problems in the tracking process, so a quantum genetic algorithm is proposed to solve such problems. In the photovoltaic cell topology model, a simplified dual-diode model is used to replace the single-diode model, and modeling and simulation are performed under Matlab/Simulink. Experimental simulation results show that the algorithm has a more efficient global optimal search capability and high control accuracy, which proves the effectiveness of the algorithm.
