Analysis on Data of Galloping and Wind Deviation Sensors in Eastern Mongolia during the Winter of 2021

We first established the information closed-loop technology system of “disaster prediction-disaster monitoring - disaster analysis” galloping and wind deviation in the whole business process to provide anti galloping support for electric power equipment management departments relying on 200+ galloping and wind deviation sensors in eastern Mongolia. The galloping and wind deviation sensors converse and intelligently analyze data protocol to judge galloping occurrences and research galloping development based on artificial intelligence and tower edge gateway. It alarms in real-time when galloping or wind deviation occurs. The intelligent edge gateway packages the data such as acceleration, speed, displacement, and environmental parameters and transmits them to the transmission line of galloping monitoring and warning system through a wireless ad hoc network. During the freezing rain and snow disaster in northeast China from 2020 to 2021, the galloping and wind deviation sensors successfully monitored and generated the data in 500kV Baiba line 1 in eastern Mongolia on November 17, which proved effective.
