Security of Internet of Things: A review of Challenges with integrating Blockchain with IoT

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of connected computing devices for the mean of communication and data transaction. As the IoT could be implemented in several domains, such as smart home applications, industrial systems, medical services, mobile healthcare, traffics controlling systems, etc. This diversity of system nature raises various security and privacy issues. Blockchain (BC) could help in improving the security of such systems due to its capabilities as it is considered the most trusted cryptography technique. This review presents the engineering challenges facing BC and IoT integration.
