Multi-GPU based Leapfrog CDI-FDTD Method for Large-Scale Electromagnetic Problems

A multi-GPU based implementation method is proposed for the recently proposed leapfrog complyingdivergence implicit finite-difference time-domain (CDI-FDTD). For solving the tridiagonal systems of leapfrog CDI-FDTD method with multiple GPUs, the SPIKE algorithm is employed to decompose the tridiagonal systems into sub-systems, which can be solved in parallel. Numerical results are given to evaluate the performance of the proposed multi-GPU based method.
