Study on Scattered Magnetic Field from a Metal Cylinder Covered with a Lossless Medium

We study a high-frequency scattered magnetic field from a two-dimensional (2-D) coated metal cylinder which is made of a metal cylinder covered with a lossless medium layer. The geometric optical ray (GO) series solution including multiple reflection effect is valid in understanding scattering phenomena because it can derive the Brewster angle. The validity of the GO series solution is confirmed by comparing with an exact solution.
