Affective Computing on Speeches of Court Defense Lawyer

Previous researches have shown that the language skills of court defense lawyers play an important role in judges’ and juries’ decision making in favour of the defendant. Based on the acoustic feature parameters optimized by neural activity observations, this paper studied the affective computing method of court defense lawyers’ speeches. The experimental test results showed that this proposed method provided an effective technical approach for describing and analyzing the lawyers’ affective language skills.
