Multipath Signal Energy Focusing Algorithm Based on Multiple Parameter Estimation

The radar signals of UAVs in urban low altitude airspace has a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and strong multipath interference, which is not conducive to the detection task. On the other hand, effective exploitation of the energy in the multipath signal can also improve the SNR. Based on the traditional focusing method, this paper proposes an energy focusing method of the multipath signal based on multi- parameter estimation. By using scene information and specular reflection model, this method can quickly search the focus of target energy in range-Doppler-angle signal data, and focus multipath signal energy by non-coherent integration. Experiments show that this method can effectively improve the SNR of weak targets when the multipath signal energy is strong.
