Dynamic Weapon-Target Assignment of Armored Units Based on Improved MOPSO Algorithm

The traditional Static Weapon-Target Assignment is difficult to adapt to the high dynamic of modern battlefield and the complexity of armored unit combat. Considering the advantages of Dynamic Weapon-Target Assignment, such as flexibility and good compatibility with battlefield reality, this paper makes a deep study on Dynamic Weapon-Target Assignment of armored detachments under the changing battlefield environment. First of all, this paper analyzes the actual battlefield environment and the characteristics of dynamic firepower distribution of armored detachment, and establishes a mathematical model of combined optimization aiming at the maximum damage efficiency to the enemy and the minimum consumption of our weapons and ammunition resources. Then, the improved MOPSO algorithm adapted to the characteristics of armored unit weapons and ammunition was used to solve the model. Finally, by comparing the results of simulation experiments of different algorithms, it is proved that the algorithm proposed in this paper can meet the requirements of firepower allocation of armored teams in actual battlefield conditions, and can improve the rationality and scientific decision-making of Dynamic Weapon-Target Assignment.
