Spurious-mode-suppression Method of a High-order Mode Coaxial Cavity for Multi-beam Klystron

A spurious-mode-suppression method is presented in this paper, which can increase the frequency interval between the operating mode (TM

mode) and spurious mode (TM
210
mode). With the numerical simulation, we find that the frequency interval can be increased from 0.321 GHz to 0.614 GHz in X-band. The simulation results were obtained by CST.
