Multipath Imaging for NLOS Targets Behind a T-shaped Corridor with Single-channel SFCW Radar

Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) detection is of great significance in both the military and the civil security fields. This paper mainly studies the problem of NLOS targets localization utilizing single-channel radar. Firstly, the signal model of the T-shaped corridor is abstracted and the virtual radar array is established. Then, the back-projection (BP) algorithm is performed on the echo according to a specific round-trip path, and multiple images are obtained. Finally, on the basis of the distribution characteristics of the pixels of these images, the incoherent multiplication method is utilized to focus on the target position. Experimental results show that the proposed method can obtain the positions of targets effectively.
