Thermoelectric Generators as Alternate Energy Source in Heating Systems

There is a lot of energy wasted in the industries in the form of heat but in that only 35% is converted into electrical energy but rest of the heat is not utilized. The main aim of the paper is to produce electrical power from refineries where energy wastage is more common in this paper the complete work is basically following the principle of the Seebeck effect in which the voltage is generated between two dissimilar semiconductors at different temperatures. The high voltage difference is produced by the thermoelectric module at very high temperatures. In this, the generated energy is by heating the source using a candle. The designed module is to produce a small voltage for consumer electronic devices in absence of sun and wind energy. In this paper the maximum output voltage produced by the thermoelectric module is approximately DC 9.8 V (Series) and 2.6 V (Parallel), The total power generated is approximately 7.5 W (Series) and 7.6 W (Parallel), and the maximum current produced approximately is 0.77 A (Series) and 2.88 A (Parallel) in the model, these results are confirmed with theoretical values at fixed resistance.
