Development of e-Commerce Platform for Agribusiness Company

Emerging technology and constant change in society's lifestyle brings impact in most businesses. e-Commerce is one of the approaches used by companies to connect with its consumers. With the popularity of e-commerce platforms that is mostly focused on consumer's basic needs, there is less focus on Agribusiness products like plant stimulants and animal supplement. Hence, the researchers developed an e-Commerce Platform through the process of understanding the business organizational problem, recognize opportunities, and listen to the needs of a target company to provide solutions. The specific objectives of the research includes studying the business process of the company, carefully follow the incremental software methodology, and turnover the validated final software product to a target client. At least six months after the implementation, it is suggested that another study be conducted to check the significant effect of the e-commerce platform to the company in terms of efficiency in process flow or business operation and revenue, to justify if it serves its purpose.
