Nonparametric Two-Sample Heterogeneity Test for Continuous Fuzzy Data

The nonparametric test for homogeneity of fuzzy data based on the Klyushin–Petunin two-sample test is developed. Such problems are typical for business applications and variety of situations related with measurements when data are represented in the form of intervals. We provide the results of comparison of the test with Kolmogorov–Smirnov two-sample test for continuous fuzzy data and prove that the significance level of the test is less than 0.05. The computational experiment has shown that the Klyushin–Petunin test of homogeneity of interval data has high specificity and sensitivity.
