Development e-module on The Concept of reduction-oxidation (redox) Oriented Towards Chemical Literacy

This study aims to describe the displays of the developed e-module products and analyze the validation test results. The feasibility test of an Android-based e-module on the concept of reduction-oxidation oriented chemical literacy. The research method used is Design-Based Research (DBR) which consists of the stage of product manufacture, including the analysis phase, the design stage, the product development stage; the product testing phase includes a validation test as well as a feasibility test both from the material aspect and the display aspect. The resulting product is an android-based e-module that reflects the components of chemical literacy, namely aspects of content, context, scientific processes, and scientific attitudes. In general, the results of the average value of the validation test in the form of r-count is 0.95 in the material aspect and 0.87 in the display aspect declared valid. Products made have been made improvements after getting advice from the validator. Furthermore, the product is tested for limited eligibility to respondents. The feasibility test results produced an average of 94-96% of respondents who agreed to all the criteria in the e-module. This shows that the android-based e-module on the concept of chemical literacy-oriented reduction-oxidation is very feasible to use as teaching material.
