Multi Level Inverter and Its Applications - An Extensive Survey

This article presents the most frequently used multilevel inverter configurations and their applications. They are common in medium and high-power applications due to their multiple benefits, including low voltage stress on control switches, low harmonic content, and low electromagnetic interference (EMI). Additionally, the control procedure used to regulate the inverter will play a significant role in achieving the optimal yield voltage. Consideration has been given to various MC-PWM (multicarrier) strategies for inverter’s open loop control. The configuration and the regulatory methods used may vary in response to the inverter’s control requests. This paper and survey results provide a valuable foundation for coordinating inverter configuration and leading control conspiracies that are applicable to a variety of application zones.
