An Effective Optimization Method for Energy Efficient Clustering in EH Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor network is a self-organizing network that connects distributed sensors to specific location and relay sensory information to the sink. [1]. We suggest a variety of effective clustering methods to extend the lifespan of WSNs, that is, the time until a certain part of the nodes dies, due to recent developments in WSNs. In particular, an improved approach to prolonging the life span of a single batch network was developed, which was followed by an extension to manage multiple networks [34]. Then, by adding energy harvesting (EH) sites, we investigate the combined issue of extending the network duration. EH nodes serve as special collections for conveying heads, and a method to improve network duration is suggested [28]. Suggested algorithms can easily produce better or lesser solutions, depending on theoretical analysis and complete simulation findings, and therefore serve as important benchmarks for the various designs of the distributed clustering scheme.
