To the question of the approach to the aviation modern and advanced electrical machines electronics units design formation

In this paper, an FMEA-based approach to the aircraft electrical machines electronic units design was proposed. The value of the proposed approach is the formed algorithm of actions, according to which it is possible to design an electronic unit. To assess the effectiveness of the formed approach to the design of aircraft electrical machines electronic units, the starter-generator electronic unit was designed by the authors. The results of computer modeling and experimental studies have shown that the designed starter-generator electronic unit performs the necessary functions and meets the requirements for it.
