Modeling of ozone formation in ozone-catalytic device honeycomb structure

The article presents an ozone-catalytic device of a honeycomb structure, considers the main physical and chemical processes occurring in it. For this device, a simulation of the dependence of the ozone concentration on time was carried out for different speeds of the gas-air mixture through the channels of the catalytic block. The simulation results show a decrease in ozone concentration after passing the peak value in the first minutes of device operation, which is of interest from the point of view of using this device to solve the problem of “cold start” of an automobile engine.
