Analysis of noisy impulse signals based on a nonparametric criterion

The article discusses the results of the application of the nonparametric Wilcoxon criterion for evaluating individual parameters of noisy impulse signals. In this case, preliminary filtering of signals is not performed, and their parameters are estimated based on the processing of such a received attribute as a rank function. The locations of the extrema of the rank function coincide with the location of the characteristic points of the pulses, for example, such as their amplitude, the beginning of the pulse, etc. Other parameters of the noisy pulse signals can be calculated from the information about the location of these points.
