Design of FIR Filter With Several Window Functions

Digital filter is an important component of signal processing such as image processing and spectrum analysis. In this paper, FIR low-pass filter is analyzed and designed by window function method. The first part introduces several commonly used window functions, and analyzes the necessity of using window functions from a mathematical point of view; According to the basic principle of FIR digital filter, the second part realizes the design of FIR filter with different window functions such as Hamming window, Haining window and Blackman window, simulates on MATLAB platform, and compares and analyzes the influence of different window functions on the design performance of FIR filter. Finally, the conclusion is drawn, and the principle of using different window functions in the design of FIR filter is discussed.
