The International Cargo Transportations in South Russian Transport and Logistics System

Digitalization is becoming a key area for improving the efficiency of the transport industry. Planning of effective measures for the operational management of transportation is based on the information integration of transport market operators, enterprises of various modes of transport and other transport participants. In the article, the authors examine the structure of integrated electronic documents in multimodal international transport. The authors consider the smart platform “TradeLens”, based on blockchain technology. The electronic transport passport is a key element of the platform. Using the example of the southern regional transport logistics system, the authors suggest the need to switch to blockchain technologies and introduce an electronic transport passport. This will ensure the sustainable development of the international transport system.
